Lash Time BKK
Aftercare Guide
Follow these tips to keep your lashes looking their best.
First 24–48 Hours
- 01Keep lashes completely dry — no water, steam, or sweat.
- 02Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers.
- 03Do not touch or rub your eyes.
- 04Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase to avoid pressure on lashes.
- 05Do not use oil-based cleansers or makeup removers near your eyes.
Ongoing Care
- 01Brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie, gently from base to tip.
- 02Cleanse lashes with a lash-safe, oil-free foam cleanser 2–3 times per week.
- 03Mascara is not recommended because it can be difficult to remove completely, which may lead to a buildup of dirt and debris.
- 04Pat (don't rub) your face dry after washing.
- 05Book a refill every 2–3 weeks to keep your lashes full.
Things to Avoid
- 01Oil-based skincare, sunscreens, and makeup removers near your eyes.
- 02Pulling or picking at your lash extensions — this damages natural lashes.
- 03Excessive heat from hair dryers, curling irons, or BBQ grills near your face.
- 04Sleeping face-down or on your side without a silk pillowcase.
- 05Rubbing your eyes — use a clean cotton bud to gently dab instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do lash extensions last?+
With proper care, extensions last 4–6 weeks. Natural lash shedding causes gradual fallout, so refills every 2–3 weeks keep them looking full.
Can I wear mascara?+
Water-based mascara on the tips only is okay. Avoid waterproof formulas entirely — they require oil-based removers that break down the lash adhesive.
What if my lashes feel uncomfortable?+
Some mild sensitivity in the first few hours is normal. If you experience burning, excessive redness, or swelling, contact us immediately.
How do I clean my lash extensions?+
Use a lash-safe, oil-free foam cleanser. Apply gently with a soft brush, rinse with cool water, and pat dry. Clean 2–3 times per week.
